I don't really like a case for my ipods, so I usually go with skins. I just want enough protection to keep the finish looking new. Most of the flash-memory based ipods are very durable as is. As I didn't see a lot of variety for the new 5G Nano, I took a chance on this one. For the price, it's fine. It's not really clear, but opaque, so you can't really see the full color of your ipod, but it does do the job. There is no screen protection with this item, but you can make your own with any of the new peel-off screen protectors that you can cut to fit. This skin does seem pretty durable; it fits snugly and doesn't seem to attract lint if put into a pocket. If you just want a cheap, basic skin, then this isn't a bad product.
