 "armband to small" 2009-12-13
By John F. Ward
IN GENERAL A GOOD ITEM, BUT THE ARMBAND WAS WAY TO SMALL. I AM 190 LBS AN MY ARMS ARE FAR FROM LARGE. THIS PRODUCT WAS TO TIGHT I KEPT THE BAND ON THE LAST VELCO STRIPS AND IT WAS STILL TIGHT. IT IS FOR THIS REASON I NO LONGER USE IT AND WOULD NEVER BUY IT AGAIN. TO BAD IT REALLY WAS NOT A BAD PRODUCT OTHERWISE.

"I tweaked to use this with 5th Gen" 2009-11-01
By Design Addict (california)
This looked identical to the new one which would have cost me $15-20 more, though technically this is specifically for 4th Gen. Upon receipt, I realized it had cutouts for controls and ridged edges that fit the 4th G and not mine. It was an easy customization to cut the opening to fit my 5th G and all is fine. I simply used am x-acto knife to cut a larger opening. Ipod still fits very securely and it's easy to access controls.

As others mentioned, this probably would not fit a large bicep-I am a moderately muscular woman (not a bodybuilder) and this fits me fine with probably 4 inches to spare.

I'm happy also because it accomodates the nike+ sensor nicely. I would recommend this product.

I got a good deal from my seller-Chicago Gadgets. Though listed as "used" in like new condition, I believe it was never used...probably a return due to not large enough for a guy's bicep? I'd call it open box new.

"Failing in most of its requirments." 2009-06-14
By S. Betzalel
I bought this along with my iPod Nano 4th and the Nike+ under the assumption that the collaboration between Nike and Apple would find its best home in this armband so endorsed by Apple and Nike.

I was wrong.

Not to start on a negative - I would say this: it is very slim and low profile. I found it sitting well on my arm and can be turned not to disturb most motion ranges.

There - not all is bad.

Sadly however, the Nike armband fails in the most basic of its requirements - house the iPod Nano 4th and allow operation of the unit.

Placing the Nano and taking it out of the case is a struggle. The case is so slim and so tight that i requires a flat surface, elbow grease and luck. On the bright side there is a low risk of it falling out of the case..

The most problematic issue i have with this is that the iPod cannot be operated while inside the case. The turn wheel response is flaky at best so sometimes it would register a click instead of a turn and sometimes it won't register anything.

This means that during a run i was forced to spend minutes just trying to change the volume or set up an exercise.

From a product that's not supposed to do much other than allowing me to keep my iPod safe and usable - this failure means that the product did not accomplish its purpose and i am not using it anymore.

As a matter of fact, i would rather keep my ipod in my pocket rather than use this.

 "Perfect" 2009-05-21

After searching for a decent armband I ordered this one and it works great. You can see the screen and move the wheel no problem. I am an avid runner and this works great.

"Not For Large Arms " 2009-03-30
By M. Cooper
Unless your arms are 12 inches or smaller do not purchase this armband, I have 16 inch arms and couldn't even secure it on my arm. If it will fit it is a great armband sleek and very comfortable, but if you are someone with larger arms this is not for you.
